Revenue Cycle Management Firm MediGain Announces Acquisition of Medical Collector ASC Billing Specialist

MediGain, a global full-service revenue cycle management and healthcare analytics company, announced last week that it has acquired ASC Billing Specialist, LLC, a Phoenix-based premier practice management, accounts receivable management company specializing in Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs).

Founded in 2002, ASC Billing provides revenue cycle management for all doctors affiliated with ASCs including surgeons, anesthesiologists and ancillary specialists. ASC Billing clients have consistently experienced a high 90-percentile collection activity in their accounts receivables.

By acquiring ASC Billing Specialist, MediGain expands its offering to the rapidly growing number of Ambulatory Surgery Centers. “At ASC Billing, we have highly trained, educated teams that are incentivized and motivated experts at working denials, underpayments and getting our clients reimbursements into the 90 plus percentile,” said Suzanne Webb, President of ASC Billing Specialist, LLC. “We still do the hard, labor-intensive work of tracking every claim for payment.
