Collection Lawyer Named as Local 'Mover and Shaker'

Kimberly L. Rathbone, an associate in the insurance subrogation department of the creditor’s law firm of Javitch, Block & Rathbone (JB&R), has been named one of Northeast Ohio’s Top 25 Under 35 Movers & Shakers by The Cleveland Professional Twenty-Thirty Club.

Rathbone chaired the Cleveland City Club New Leaders from 2005 to 2006 and before that was the vice chair and community outreach chair.  She is a member of the Ohio Women’s Bar Association, and the Ohio State, Cleveland, and Cuyahoga County Bar Associations, a member of the Ohio Staters’ Alumni Association, and a supporting member of NAWBO (National Association of Women Business Owners).

JB&R’s practices focus in the areas of retail and commercial collections, creditor bankruptcy representation, commercial and creditor litigation, landlord representation, and insurance subrogation. With 360 employees and 48 lawyers, it is one of the largest creditor rights firms in the country.
