DALLAS — PHNS announced that Providence Health & Services-California (Providence) has selected PHNS to provide primary early placement outsourced revenue cycle services. Providence is a not-for-profit health system that has 5 hospitals in California and an additional 22 hospitals in Alaska, Washington, Montana and Oregon.
PHNS provides a full range of revenue cycle services for hospitals including full and partial receivables management, business office and accounts receivable services, and interim revenue cycle services using PHNS’ proprietary processes and procedures. It can constantly track the progress of claims and collections through the use of customized tools that help hospitals manage their accounts receivable. Its revenue cycle services use a sophisticated and highly-structured process to maximize revenues.
