Executive Change: Tech Lock, Inc. Appoints Michael Wright as Chief Security Officer

Gurnee, Ill. – Tech Lock, Inc. today announced the appointment of Michael Wright as Chief Security Officer. His position involves defining the direction and strategic goals of Tech Lock’s Security & Compliance division, which includes providing innovative and cost-effective holistic security and compliance services aligned with clients’ business and organizational goals.

Mr. Wright has a wide range of previous experience in the fields of information technology, information security, and compliance. Having served in roles ranging from network and storage engineering to system architecture, to security auditing and penetration testing, Michael brings a wealth of experience to Tech Lock’s management team. Prior to Tech Lock, Mr. Wright held a senior management position with Sallie Mae’s Asset Performance Group where he was responsible for implementing a holistic information security program for 5,000 collectors in 18 locations. Mr. Wright is a member of the Chicago chapter of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association and of the Westwood College Program Advisory Committee for its Chicago-based campuses. He is currently a member of the Virtualization Special Interest Group for the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Security Standards Council.

Michael holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems Security from Westwood College and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Intelligence Studies with a concentration in Information Warfare from American Military University.
