Executive Bio: Clark D. Handy

Clark Handy is senior vice president of Human Resources for Convergys Corporation, a global leader in relationship management.

Clark is responsible for leading the development and implementation of human resource programs and processes for Convergys’ employees worldwide. Clark reports to Dave Dougherty, president and chief executive officer of Convergys.

Before joining Convergys, Handy held several executive level positions including executive vice president of Human Resources at Teleflex, Inc., and vice president of Human Resources in both the Global Research and Development, and Global Supply Chain divisions of Wyeth Pharmaceuticals. Handy also held senior management roles in manufacturing, logistics and human resources at Georgia-Pacific, James River, and Hallmark Cards, Inc.

Clark earned his bachelor’s degree from the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis.  He served in the United States Navy and retired from the Naval Reserve with the rank of commander.
