Optio Solutions, LLC., an accounts receivable management company and CrossCheck, Inc., a national payment approval and guarantee company announced a donation of over $6,100 to the American Cancer Society Relay For Life. Employees of both companies participated in company-hosted fund raising events along with being part of the relay weekend held September 15 and 16, 2012 at Casa Grande High School in Petaluma, Calif.
“This is the third year that Optio Solutions has participated in this worthwhile community event. I am extremely proud to see the employees contribute both time and money to bring awareness to this cause,” said Chris Schumacher, Optio Solutions President and CEO.
Employees for Optio Solutions and CrossCheck made donations for “dress down” days, prime parking space raffles and pizza lunches along with holding a competitive penny drive. The CrossCheck/Optio Solutions team members took turns walking and running the track over a 24-hour period starting Saturday morning. Sixty-seven teams participated this year in the Petaluma Relay For Life event and raised over $177,000.
