Receivables Management Bureau Changes Name to Healthcare Receivables Group

Receivables Management Bureau, headquartered in Knoxville, TN has announced a name change effective June 1.  The new company name is Healthcare Receivables Group.

Neil Koonce, President of Healthcare Receivables Group, said, “Since 1993, our company has been serving the healthcare industry.  During this time, our clients have allowed our firm the opportunity to manage nearly $3 Billion in receivables on their behalf.  In response, our company has continued to attract talented staff with healthcare experience, make significant investments in technology, and provide innovative receivables solutions to the healthcare industry.  Our new name more accurately describes our exclusive focus on managing healthcare receivables. In addition, it positions our company to brand itself even further by making our commitment to healthcare part of our business name.”

In addition, Healthcare Receivables group as recently added to senior members to the management team.

Lesa Klepper joined the firm in January as the Chief Operating Officer.  Klepper has more than 20 years of revenue cycle experience working primarily with acute care healthcare providers including a large centralized billing operation, an academic trauma center, a community-based suburban hospital and a rural hospital.

Michael Rainwater returned to the company in April as the Vice-President of Recovery.   Prior to his return, he was a Director in the Operations group for a global electronic payments solution company.  He was previously with the company in a variety of roles for about ten years.

Other members of the leadership team include Amy Totty, Vice-President of Client Service and Cathy Parker, Vice-President of Outsourcing.
