CR Software, the world’s leading collections and receivables management software supplier today announced the successful implementation of Titanium ORE (Open Receivables Management) for the Superior Court of California, County of Orange, which services one of the largest counties in the United States.

The Orange County Superior Court (OCSC) will use Titanium in tandem with their home-grown Oracle based platform as the system  of record, a unique task requiring a set of custom Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) tools to enable the Microsoft based Titanium system to interact with thousands of records stored in this system.

“OCSC needed a software platform that could communicate with an existing application,” said Jason Withrow, implementation manager. “Titanium is great with integrations and processes a high volume of accounts per day into the system. I know this integration ability was a big selling point for them.”

OCSC issues daily traffic and violation fees and investigated several software platforms, looking to bolster and simplify their collection efforts, selecting Titanium to function as their primary collections system.

Titanium will streamline the court’s labor-intensive, manual collections process.  Much of the previous data was imported and extracted from spreadsheets.

“OCSC has never operated on a powerful collections system before,” Withrow said. “They’re now in a position to far exceed their collections goals using the technology Titanium offers.”

The court will utilize the roles and privileges functionality which allows only designated users to view and modify specific accounts and data.

“We’ve often found that collection managers assign roles to their collectors to implement security within the Titanium application,” Withrow said. “In this case, only approved collectors can access accounts and data based on their authorization level.”

The data conversion phase of implementation rectified mismatched, inaccurate data using the full-cycle layout, a methodical data mapping process that promotes sound data hygiene, while ensuring maximum business efficiency.

“The implementation team is really excited to see Titanium simplify the collections process for OCSC,” said Withrow. “Based on our original system analysis, we’ve tailored specific workflows that’ll improve their business needs.”
