Akcelerant and Fiserv Unit Forge New Partnership for Credit Union Collections

Summit Information Systems, a unit of Fiserv, Inc. and leader in delivering advanced core processing to the credit union industry, has joined with Akcelerant Software LLC to offer a real-time interface to its CollectAnywhere™ collections solution. This new collections option is another example of the “Freedom of Choice” available with the open architecture of the Summit Spectrum® core processing system.

Data integration between Summit Spectrum and Akcelerant CollectAnywhere is made possible with a Summit PathWays Connector, a seamless, certified interface.

PathWays is a middleware and development tool kit option available from Summit and provides open access to the core power of Spectrum. Utilizing industry standards such as Web Services, XML, SOAP and JAVA, the technology of PathWays enables rapid custom solution and interface development.

CollectAnywhere has gained industry recognition as a Web-enabled collections management solution that will reduce delinquency and annual net loss while increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of the entire collections process. Results of CollectAnywhere implementations have included measured productivity improvements of 25 ? 40 percent, as well as enhanced collections on charge-offs.
