Due to the continuation of an ongoing procurement by the U.S. Department of Education (ED) for Private Collection Agencies (PCAs), Fed Cetera is pleased to announce its sponsorship of a free teleseminar, Federal Subcontracting Opportunity Update, scheduled for Friday, May 9, 2014, at 12 noon EST.
The content of the teleseminar is tailored to small collection agencies that want to work as subcontractors to larger firms on the U.S. Department of Education Private Collection Agency (PCA) contract. Subcontractors working on the PCA contract as a result of their relationship with Fed Cetera have historically earned $250,000 to $750,000 per month in fees and more than $28,000,000 to date for their efforts on this long-term initiative. Answers to any questions they may have about the program
Fed Cetera is sponsoring the teleseminar to promote the growth of its Federal Subcontractor Network, a program in which it matches small businesses with large, prime contractors on Federal contracts like the ED PCA task order. Large firms on the ED PCA task order have an incentive to hire small businesses as subcontractors to improve their scorecard performance and maximize market share.
As reported on www.mygovwatch.com, due to increases in volume, ED’s revenue paid to ED PCAs and subcontractors on a combined basis is expected to reach $700,000,000 per year by 2015. The current incentive provides for 10% of placements to go to small business subcontractors, a number expected to increase, which means the market share available for subcontractors may grow to at least $70,000,000 per year in revenue to small business subcontractors by 2015.
Fed Cetera helps companies in the collection industry pursue opportunities with the Federal government. Federal PCAs have strong incentives to give a portion of their work to qualified small businesses. Companies working with Fed Cetera to pursue subcontracting opportunities recently surpassed $25,000,000 in total billings for their work provided as subcontractors to ED PCAs.
