Medical Records Online (MRO), the market leader of in-house medical Release of Information (ROI) technology for healthcare providers, announced that Jerry Baker has joined the board of directors and will serve as president. Baker was previously president and chief operating officer of Info-X, an Inc. 500 company acquired by 3M Corporation in 2004.

Baker’s leadership track record includes domain expertise in clinical informatics, medical coding, revenue cycle management and regulatory compliance. While serving as president of Info-X, he provided leadership and direction for overall business operations and market development including corporate overhead, sales, distribution services and support. During his tenure, Info-X achieved dramatic growth while dominating the medical coding compliance market niche. Baker’s range of experience includes early stage through large-company divisional operating management with P&L responsibility at several Fortune 100 companies including 3M, First Data Corporation and Baxter International. Before joining the private sector, Baker served in the US Marine Corps achieving the rank of captain.
Baker also serves on the board of directors of Health Services Integration, Inc. (HSI), and as a director for Brandywine Airport, West Chester, Pa. HSI provides a dedicated offering of software and services specifically designed for air ambulance operators and hospitals with air ambulance assets through a suite of support solutions for air ambulance services, including dispatch and flight following, patient billing and collections, intranet internal communications software, and management consulting.
