Convergent Completes Name Change and Re-branding

Convergent, a large, diversified revenue cycle, receivables and customer care management company, announced today that it had completed the re-branding of its operating divisions under the Convergent brand.

“As one of the largest companies in the accounts receivable management/customer care industry, we believe that operating under a single ‘Convergent’ brand better reflects our company’s broad capabilities and expertise in customer contact and collections using converged technologies in many different industry verticals,” said Michael A. Micek, President and Chief Executive Officer.

In order to minimize customer disruption, the re-branding process was begun two years ago. The first stage was to unify the company’s various divisions, websites, and logos under the Convergent brand by standardizing graphic elements and color scheme. In this final stage, the legal names of the various subsidiary companies have been changed to be consistent with the overall Convergent brand. The legal name changes were made to minimize consumer and customer confusion when disclosing legal entity names to borrowers.

The following name changes have occurred:

• E-R Solutions, Inc. has been renamed Convergent Outsourcing, Inc.
• Credit Clearing House, Inc. has been renamed Convergent Commercial, Inc.
• AHC, Inc. has been renamed Convergent Revenue Cycle Management, Inc.
• CB Accounts, Inc. has been renamed Convergent Healthcare Recoveries, Inc.
