LiveVox, the leading provider of hosted dialer solutions , today announced its belief that the strategy of purchasing premise-based dialers will be obsolete in the next three years and eliminated in the next five. Strategic reliance on this legacy technology will be replaced by hosted-dialing solutions that replicate all features of the premise-based dialer, while offering enhanced functionality including integrated IVR and ACD.
Louis Summe, CEO and president of LiveVox, suggests that the increasing difficulty in obtaining Right Party Connects (RPCs) will lead to the wider adoption of on-demand, hosted solutions. As traditional dialers only provide a few lines per agent and are limited by expensive agency-owned telephony infrastructure, they cannot compete. LiveVox adds virtually unlimited lines per agent until all agents in each campaign are speaking with a right party.
