New UK Location Opens

In April, AIC opened a new UK flagship site in Manchester, England. The site provides immediate capacity for over 120 agents with capacity to expand well beyond this number. The site was chosen because of its proximity to a skilled labor force and accessibility for employees and clients alike. The site will house AIC’s UK First Party Outsourcing operation.

Canada’s 50 Best Managed Companies

In February, AIC achieved status as one of “Canada’s 50 Best Managed Companies”. AIC is a nine time winner of this designation and is a member of the coveted Platinum Club <https://www.canadas50best.com/en/meetourwinners/Pages/PlatinumClub.aspx>  which salutes companies who have won the Best Managed award for at least six consecutive years.   The 50 Best Program celebrates Canadian firms that focus on their core vision, create stakeholder value, and excel in the global economy.  

Training Top 125

In April, AIC was named Training Magazine’s Top 125 list for the third year in a row. AIC improved its ranking from 109 in 2007 to 51 in 2008 to 11 in 2009. The Training Top 125 is a global ranking based on myriad benchmarking statistics such as total training budget; percentage of payroll; hours of training per employee annually; and detailed formal programs.

Call Center Top Performer Awards

In June AIC was presented with several medals of achievement at the Contact Centre World <http://north-america.contactcenterworld.com/> Americas Top Performers Awards. The awards recognize the very best in the contact center industry from North and South America. Over a thousand firms had applied for the 2009 program.

AIC Earns ISO 9000:2008 Certification

In Q1 2009, AIC’s Canadian; US; and UK operations were awarded certification to the latest ISO 9001:2008 standard as the basis for the Company’s Global Quality Management System. ISO 9001:2008 registration is internationally recognized as an all-encompassing method for implementing a Quality System.
