MAXIMUS, a leading provider of government services, announced that the Company has signed a contract with the City of Cleveland Municipal Court valued at more than $6 million for the MAXIMUS CourtView® court case management software and related services.

Under the terms of the contract, MAXIMUS will implement its CourtView court case management solution for the Cleveland Municipal Court’s small claims, civil, criminal, and traffic courts, as well as the City Prosecutor and Adult Probation department. The solution will provide the courts with a technology foundation to efficiently manage caseloads and encompass electronic document management and Web access to publicly available court records.

"The Cleveland Municipal Court is the busiest court in the State of Ohio and we need to maximize our efficiencies in order to be most effective in the community we serve," commented the Honorable Larry A. Jones, Presiding and Administrative Judge of the Cleveland Municipal Court. "We do a good job, but we can always do better and I truly believe our partnership with MAXIMUS will provide us with the tools, the technology, and the training to move us into the 21st century and eventually make the Cleveland Municipal Court a model for other courts in the country."

Serving 1.6 million citizens throughout its jurisdiction, the Cleveland Municipal Court joins approximately 150 of Ohio’s courts that rely on MAXIMUS justice solutions.
