Collection Agency Adding 100 Jobs in Western New York

Debt collection agency Premiere Credit of North America is adding some 100 jobs in a call center in Western New York, according to The Buffalo News. The company intends to have at least 30 on board by the end of August.

The hiring is part of an expansion of the company’s Batavia, N.Y. office, its first satellite location distant from its Indianapolis headquarters. Batavia is located between Buffalo and Rochester in Western New York.

The positions to be filled are in management and front-line collections.

Premiere Credit, a collector on the Department of Education’s student loan debt collection contract, opened the call center in March 2012 with similar announcements of hiring. After the expansion is complete, the company will employ around 200 people at the office.
