Executive Change: Platinum Funding Names Dina Niron SVP, Business Development

Platinum Funding Group, a leading factoring company, announced that Dina Niron has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Business Development.  In her new role, Niron, 36, will lead Platinum’s business development team and continue to shape the company’s marketing initiatives.

Niron has been instrumental in Platinum Funding Group’s recent growth and geographic expansion. Although working primarily out of the company’s New York City headquarters, she has been spearheading Platinum’s efforts in Atlanta, Georgia since July 2007. Niron will continue to be at the forefront of establishing Platinum’s presence in various U.S. regions and abroad.

Niron said, “The last year and a half has been very fulfilling on many levels and I am looking forward to sustaining our high level of commitment to our clients, especially in the tightening credit market ahead, while also broadening our portfolio to strengthen our position in the industry.”

Niron was previously Vice President of Business Development at Platinum Funding Group.  Before joining Platinum, she served as a Junior Portfolio Manager at Halpert Capital, a New York City-based hedge fund. Niron also has a strong legal background holding a LL.M in Intellectual Property from Cardozo Yeshiva University and a LL.B from Tel Aviv University.

Platinum Funding specializes in providing cash from the outright purchase of a company’s accounts receivable income stream, for small and middle market companies that need to fund internal growth, a recapitalization, acquisitions, working capital or to exit chapter 11.
